Join Daniel Tiger on this special day in honor of connecting with and helping your neighbors!

Have you marked your calendars for Sunday, March 26?

This is a day of caring and sharing kindness with our neighbors and neighborhoods.

Be My Neighbor Day is a free, family-friendly event and we’re planning a lot of fun things to do! You can meet Danial Tiger, run through the recycled fun course, dance with our DJs, or paint a kindness rock – and more!

Also, please bring an item for our food drive in partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank (see below for more details). It’s a “grr-ific” way to model being a caring neighbor, while filling an important need in our community.

10:00 a.m. (Sold Out), 11:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 1:00 p.m.: Daniel Tiger photos (reservation required)

10:00 – 11:00 a.m.: Kids Ask session with Allentown City officials
11:00 – 12:00 p.m.: Kids Ask session with Allentown City officials
12:00 – 1:00 p.m.: Kids Ask session with Allentown City officials
1:00 – 2:00 p.m.: Kids Ask session with Allentown City officials

10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.: Paint a Kindness Rock; Dance with DJs; run the Recycled Objects Course; Check out vehicles at Touch-a-Truck; and more!

ABOUT THE FOOD DRIVE

The 2023 food drive will support Second Harvest Food Bank. Bring a food or toiletry item to donate to the nonprofit, which helps fight food insecurity for neighbors throughout the Lehigh Valley. Highest need items include:

Dry pantry staples:
- Canned beans
- Canned meats (tuna, chicken)
- Canned Soups
- Pasta
- Rice
- Macaroni & Cheese Boxes
- Cereal
Personal Hygiene items:
- Soap
- Shampoo
- Conditioner
- Body Wash
- Dish Soap
- Toothpaste
- Toothbrushes
- Feminine Hygiene products
- Deodorant sticks
