PBS39 members and their guests (up to 4 total) are invited to join us on Thursday, September 12th from 6-8:30 p.m. at our PBS39 studios for a FREE screening and panel discussion of the soon-to-be-released documentary series Country Music by renowned documentarian Ken Burns.
There will be a reception with appetizers and light refreshments for all members from 6-7 p.m. Enjoy mingling with our panelists, Dick Boak, retired Artist Relations Manager at Martin Guitar and contributor to this documentary and Dave Fry, a folksinger: adult, children’s and family-music performer — arts educator/entrepreneur and good-time rascal, all rolled up in one, while listening to a live performance by Craig Thatcher, musician and International Clinician/Ambassador for C.F. Martin & Co. Craig is a guitar instructor & recording artist, and originator and host of the PBS television series, “Behind The Guitar”.
Each member who attends will receive a Country Music T-Shirt and be entered into a raffle to win a prize!
The screening of a sneak preview of scenes and interviews from across the 8-episode series will begin at 7:00 p.m. followed by a panel discussion to be moderated by Jerry Padden from CAT Country 96.
